Who writes the letters
Hello. I am David, a dad of two girls. One of them is losing her teeth right now; the other is still busy growing hers.
I grew up in Bexhill-on-Sea, a small town on the south coast of England, with a pebble beach, a hill for flying kites and a walled garden with a ruined fireplace you could run straight through. The Land in these letters is made of places like those.
By day I am an emergency nurse and educator, so I spend a lot of time explaining hard things kindly. That is in here too: the dentist, a sad day, a house that is now two houses. The letters never lecture. They let a fairy say the thing a tired grown-up might not manage at bedtime. And because I sing to my girls and to my patients, some of them are meant to be sung.
Most of all, this is something a child and a grown-up do together, in the same room, with nothing to charge. Every letter is written, printed and packed by hand in the USA, and read by a person before it goes in its envelope.
If you want to tell me something, the fairies forward everything: hello@wobblypost.com.
