Returns, shipping and the occasional disaster

Shipping

Kits ship from within the USA by USPS Ground Advantage with tracking, usually five to seven business days after you order, because every kit is written, printed, engraved and cut for one child. The box is plain kraft with nothing on it that would interest a child; the return address is ours, not the fairies'.

A tooth is wiggling right now

Email us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it in time. We can usually send the first letter by email as a stopgap, printed at the right size for you to cut, so the Fairy Glass still gets used on the big night.

Returns

Every kit is made for one child, with their name in it, so we cannot resell a returned one. If the kit arrives damaged, or something is wrong with it, email a photo within 30 days and we will reprint or replace whatever is needed at no charge, including the postage. If you simply change your mind before we start making it (usually within 24 hours of ordering), we refund in full. After work has started, we refund everything except the cost of what has already been personalized.

Lost or late

If tracking shows the box lost for more than ten days, we make another one and send it. If a letter goes missing from the box years from now, email us the letter number and we will reprint it for the price of a stamp.

Fairy codes

Codes do not expire and are good for one use on the product they name. If you lose yours, email us from the address you ordered with and we will find it.

Allergies and safety

The kits contain small parts (coins, tiles, keepsake boxes) and are intended for children five and up with a grown-up running the show. Wood is Baltic birch; paper is cotton; no nuts, latex or scented materials are used anywhere in the kit.
