Wobbly Postthe tooth fairy

Build your calendar

The First Tooth Calendar. Everything the fairies need to write to your child. Nothing here is shown to the child, so be as specific as you like.

About your child

Only the first name appears in the letters. The letters speak to your child as "you," so there are no pronouns to choose.

Which season did (or will) the first tooth come out in?

Each season is its own 24-day story. Pick the season the first tooth came out in, or the one you expect.

Which calendar?

The card calendar composts, and six of its doors hold a tooth-shaped nasturtium or pumpkin seed instead of a coin. Tear the door out in spring and plant it.

Seeds cannot be posted to Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the island territories. Everywhere else in the US is fine.

Where did (or will) the first tooth come out? The calendar's journey starts there.

Door one begins in that town: the Wobbly Post pigeon collects the tooth there, and the big picture behind the doors starts with somewhere your child knows before it winds into Toothfairy Land. We picture the town, never the street.

These become small details in the artwork and a line or two in the letters.

The look of Toothfairy Land

Every letter comes with a picture, drawn for your child in the way you choose here. The fairy is always your child's age and grows up alongside them, and along the way sends five pictures of their own family, drawn by the fairy, getting better each time.

Extras
  • Fairy WagesA coin behind the doors, the Land's profit share from the first tooth. Adds up to exactly $5.00 on either calendar, ending with a golden dollar. Comes with a ledger card for adding it up.
    $12.00
  • Pearl Fairy GlassUpgrade the included wooden-handled glass to the sparkliest one in the Land: pearlescent handle, gold ring, 5x lens. Heavier, and worth it.
    $14.00
  • The DewdropA solid glass dome in a turned wooden cradle. Set it on the letter and slide it along, and the words swim up underneath like a flower under a drop of dew. Fairy Rosie invented it out of ice; the cradle is because ice is cold, and she insists. Comes with the card that tells the whole story. No plastic, and thick enough to survive the floor.
    $22.00
  • Second Fairy GlassFor the other house, or the sibling who insists on holding one too.
    $6.00

Is it a gift?

At checkout, put their address as the shipping address. The box is plain on purpose, and your note goes to the grown-ups on a separate card, never to the child.
